Yakar Roots and Rhythms

YAKAR ROOTS AND RHYTHMS: Co-directed by Ousmane Sall, Alioune Faye and Mar Gueye, this energetic dance troupe hails from Senegal. Their repertoire draws on the rich music, dance and drumming traditions of West Africa, which each of their families has passed on throughout many generations.
